Hi belly button question

I have had my belly button done a couple of times, and I think, because it is a bit sticky outy, they have all grown out. Can you get a bar going across sideways?

    i'm not sure exactly how you mean by sideways, but if you look in my profile picture, you'll see I have a bar going sideways right under my belly button. I love it, but it does grow out on some people

    What i mean by sideways is like a bar going horizontal through the belly button, rather than a bar going vertically down!

    Well I guess it could be done.
    I mean I'm sure the piercer would mind.
    But are you speaking going completely horizontal like through making it 2 holes(like with a barbell), or just one hole like a normal one?
