Any cheerleaders out there? I need encouragement

Okay, I started this diet last year and did so well. I lost 10-1/2 lbs my first week! I was walking 2 miles about 3 to 4 times a week and was down about 26lbs....Then my 93 year old father, who lived with me, was hospitalized in June (Father's Day). He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and eventually passed away in September. We buried him 1 week before his 94th birthday. Two days after his birthday was my 50th birthday. He was my world and it has been a huge adjustment in my life without him. Through all of this I got so distracted and totally threw the diet and exercise to the wind. He's now been gone 5-1/2 months and I still cannot get motivated to get back on track. I'm trying to get myself motivated but my brain will not cooperate. We all know your brain has to be ready or you won't do it. I have a wonderful husband; 2 great kids; daughter-in-law; son-in-law; two very precious grandkids (2,1) and one on the way. I have EVERY reason to lose this weight but CAN'T GET MOTIVATED!!!!!! :sad:
