Anyone looking forward to the weekend?

How are you planning on dealing with St. Patrick's Day temptations? Irish Soda Bread, Guinness, Bailey's, Corned Beef and Cabbage... or if you're me, Jameson...ah.

I have found some alternative recipes, have Aussie Rules practice on Saturday morning and have planned a recovery run with my best friend for Sunday morning so that I can't splurge too much

I don't know whats happening. I going to the parade for the first time ever, so that should be fun. I don't really worrying about cals that day, but I will get in my usual morning exercise before I head out for the festivities. I might be driving will help with some of the alcohol consumption.

Well, I did let myself have a free day where I eat my maintaince calories. Then last night..was kinda a unplanned binge. Not feeling to hot about it, trying to dust myself off and do good today. As for any temptations going on..just the desserts..and not too lucky on resisting that. If you put a piece of cake in front of my face, I will eat it.

Honey... I feel you on the cake. I have found a vegan flourless chocolate cake recipe that totally does the trick in curing my cravings... and it's so healthy to boot. Problem is, you have to make it first hahahaahahaha.

We are going to st pat's party. I think the answer is to plan ahead how much you will let yourself go so you don't have a few drinks and lose all sense of caring.

I plan to have only two drinks for the whole night, and shepards pie for dinner but only eat 1/2 of it.

Exercise a bit longer during the day and cut a little bit from breakfast and lunch.

Today is my wedding anniversary and the weather is going to be nice so we'll go pick up a nice piece of meat to BBQ. I'll try to get at least a short run in during the day. I don't work again until Thurs. so will burn off some calories in the next few days.
