I didn't see a post for Thursday...Decided to combine the two. Did you move Thurs or Fri?

  • Thursday - I did 60 minutes of Level Two Vinyasa Flow yoga...I LOVE that class! Tried it out online during a free trial. I think I'm hooked.

    Friday - I'm supposed to do a 30 minute run in a bit..I may sneak in more yoga, too. I'm really tender today. I need some more stretching. I'll check back later :)

    You are doing good. I need to get back to doing more. I have done a lot of rearranging of rooms and yard work and painted a bed. So believe me that was a work out. I had my myofascial pain flared up good, or maybe I should say bad.

  • I got in both the run and the yoga. My run was KILLING ME. I went outside for it. It was muggy, polleny, and after a few minutes running...HOT! I was struggling and I didn't understand why. Afterward, I looked at my running program that I turn on when I go outside (it tracks my miles and speed)...and I was running faster than I usually do indoors! Duhhhh!

    Yoga and pilates are very disliked by me.. I am glad you are enjoying it. That is why you are having such good results.

  • Sometimes it takes the right set of yoga exercises to really get into it. I don't buy into the whole spiritual part of yoga. I'm glad the classes I have found don't focus on that. What part of yoga do you not like?

    The main reason I do it is for flexibility. I need to work on that. And I have also noticed with this new routine we're doing, we do a lot of exercises that work my arms and abs, so I get my strength training in, too!

    (I hate strength training)
