Juicing

I bought a juicer as I had seen on the DR. OZ show that he juices and it is beneficial to your health and even weight loss. I did try it out and took 2 apples, 6 carrots and 1 cucumber and made some juice. My 4 year old grandson liked it and so did I. But what I want to know is do I count the total calories for each veggie and fruit I use in making it then divide it by the number of servings to get my calorie count or is the juice less calories? lol hoping. Anyway I think juicing would make a good pick me up for snack time.
Does anyone else here juice if so I sure could use some good recipes .

couple years ago I tried juicing but It actually gets expensive,I'm on limited income so I just flat couldnt afford it.I'm doing good just to keep romaine hearts and tomatoes stocked in the fridge. when I did do it I remember having lots of energy! sorry I dont even remember any recipes. But i'm sure sombody out there has some, lots of luck!
