Okay I don't have any diet tips for anyone as yet but I know I sure could use some. So thought I would start this thread for those members who had some and would share them. One member did give me a couple about salads and hope she will post them here to share with everyone. So if you have some tips Please post them on this thread for us.
Thanks

I do have a exercise tip for those members who may not be able to get as much exercise in as they want.
If you are sitting watching television, when a commercial comes on just get up and walk around or jog in place during the commercials.

That is how I had to start at 304lbs Just walking back and forth during the commercials. It really helped. As I got more active and stronger I added some wall pushups to build up my arm strenght. I do them that way because I could not get off the floor and the only way to get down there is to fall...lol

I went back to my old job. I work outside and walk alot so my health has really improved. Losing 70+ lbs helped that a lot. It is a struggle and I have a long way to go still but I work on it everyday.

Debbie, I think I may start doing that too. I had forgotten about the wall push ups. I can't do a lot of exercises yet but do what I can whenever. I just need to get into a routine. I get out of breath so easy , tired and my legs and back hurts. So you can understand how I am not too enthused with exercise. I wish I had someone to do it with as I think that would help. But I guess as the saying goes, "every little bit helps". I really admire you for doing it when you weighed so much. You will be my new hero. :)
What motivated you and kept you at it as I know it had to be hard?

    Hugs, Ann

Thank you, I really thought at 300lbs I was headed for a wheel chair but I just keep plugging away till it got lot eaiser. My co-workers in my department are barely in their 20and 30's and I am just a little slower but I for the most part keep up.

Girl ,you have something to be really proud of as that is a awesome accomplishment and the determination you had is nothing to sneeze at either. I do so admire you for that , wish I had the determination and stay motivated to stick with it. But I know myself, I start out good then when I start hurting and get out of breath I quit. I need someone to encourage me and give me a kick in the behind every now and then. I don't know about anyone else here having trouble exercising but think I will post a thread challenging myself to exercise. Maybe having to be accountable will help me .
