I've just recently started following it due to a diagnosis of PCOS and wondered if anyone else in this group would like to swap recipes or share any tips or success stories?

Hi, I have done the GI Diet in the past and I lost just over 2 stone in four months. There are a lot of GI Diet books out there but the one I've got is by Rick Gallop and I also have the recipe book which are both great. If you are prepared to more or less cook everything from scratch then I would definately stick with it because I enjoyed it, and you could easily combine it with MFP. You do struggle at first trying to think of what to have but if you read the book a few times and keep looking at all of the ingredients it does get easier.

Check out http://www.gidiet.com for more info and some recipes.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Yes I am using those books and you're right I have struggled with thinking about what to have especially for meals. I think it will sink in its just making those changes and getting used to them. I have heard a couple of people say they've lost well with Low Gi so thats whats keeping me going right now!
