Hey everyone, I'm on my first week of P90X and I'm really struggling so far. I've done everything the best I could even though I've been extremely sore. Today I was supposed to do the Ab Ripper and I just don't think I have it in me. Do you guys think it's a big deal to skip that? I thought my options were to just take it easy or to wait a while and then do the Ab Ripper later in the day when I've had a little time to rest. I just like to do them back to back so I can shower. Please let me know your opinion!

You may be or probably will get sick of that saying, "Do you best and forget the rest.", but it's good advice in this case. I'd suggest doing the routine and setting a goal of 5 (instead of the 25 they are doing) for each ARX move and then progress from there. I wouldn't skip it entirely every time, but if you have to due to time or being spent, that's fine too. I think it's good to put pressure on ourselves to follow the program closely, but if we get so rigid that if we miss something, we feel like we're done or failed (and tempted to quit entirely), that's too rigid.

    Good luck!
