This is a post from ShimmerGal:

I use a vitamix blender. It is great. I can make hot soups as well. I will try making a soup for dinner (without the optional ingredients) if I get hungry.

Also, I came up with this Mexican Soup recipe -
1. Carrot 1 large
2. kale/spinach 1 handfull (1 cup loosely packed)
3. Cucumber diced 1 small
4. Cabbage ( 1/2 cup)
5. Frozen Corn (1/4 cup) (optional), Canned black beans (optional) 1/4 cup
6. Taco seasoning
7. Jalapeno 1/2 diced
Blend carrot, spinach, cabbage in very hot water (make sure it is not fine. It should look like finely shredded vegetables).
Add rest of the ingredients and pulse for couple of mins.
Squeeze some lime and enjoy.
Makes 2 servings.
Cheers!

    Mean Green Juice
    Serves: 1 Calories: 310
    1 Cucumber
    4 Celery Stalks
    2 Apples
    6-8 leaves Kale
    1/2 Lemon
    1 tbsp Ginger

I am using this standard juice as seen in the documentary. It tastes surprisingly good. Better chilled. I just don't know that I can do this for 3 days in a row much less the 60 days Joe Cross did in the film.

Thank you! I have made a wonderful concoction of juices. Only using celery or spinach as my veggies this week just to make it easy!

    Thanks for the share.

I have a fixed set of vegetables and fruits that I am using for my juicing (rather blending in my Vitamix). You through anything in vitamix, it blends and taste great.

For breakfast, I use primarily use fruits like berries, bananas and some almond milk.
For lunch and dinner, I use mainly vegetables like kale, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, etc. I try to limit agave or honey. Instead use, 1one fruit like orange or grapes for sweetness.

In between, I have a protein shake (Shakeology) after my workout for added energy.
