Looks like the Christmas Special this year will introduce a new Companion.

    Yes, saw the article on CNN. Not sure what to think...I really love Amy and Rory and will be sad to see them go but I'm hoping the new companion will grow on me as well. As long as she isn't whiney...

    The weird thing is though, they look like that they would actually make a good couple in 'real' life.

    I agree, we definitely don't need any whiners. I like the idea of the companion to challenge the Doctor and at times, be just as smart as he can be.
