    Metformin works great for me. I'm not on it now because I'm nursing (it used to be approved for use during breastfeeding but the recommendations have changed)

    I have never heard that and I am a health and wellness writer (specializing in women's issues - including all types of drug use during BFing). I am constantly researching info on things like this and have never come across this bit of information. I'd be interested in the sources you have for that if you can share, please! :)
