Hi, I am breastfeeding a 9 week old. My daily calorie amount is 1220. I know breast feeding requires an extra 500 calories. So, do I change my daily to 1720? I haven't been losing much weight but my calorie intake may have been too low! Just want to be sure I have my numbers right! Thanks!

yep, that's what you can do. Or you can leave your cals the same and add 'breastfeeding' to one of your meals. It will show up as 'breastfeeding -500 cals' :)

    Congrats on your arrival!!

    Yes, either option will work.
