Where do you meet people? besides online? I don't go out alot so I'm not sure how the hell to meet guys other than online dating or being setup by friends(which hasn't worked thus far)

    5K, 10K, half marathons, full marathons, cycling events, parks, gyms! Just to name a few.

    In order of preference:

    - Sports & interests (via meetup, local clubs or whatever),
    - Gigs & concerts,
    - Pubs & nightclubs,
    - Online dating/online chats & MFP :laugh:
    - House parties & BBQs,
    - Via friends & family (not my favourite),
    - Adding guy you fancy as Facebook friend,
    - Talking to some random person in the street,

    Unfortunately, you either need to: connect online/go out. So yeah...

    The best ones are the ones where you know people are in it for the same thing as you, so that you've got some shared interests (e.g. knitting club, at nightclubs or gigs you know you're into the same kind of music, etc.).

    I'm not partial to bars/clubs/casinos, so where am I meeting guys? Mall, gas station, sam's club, bookstore, local festivals, comedy club. Just about everywhere. Not that any of them have taken me off the market, lol.

    Strangely, I met a lot of guys at church but not one has actually asked me out. Same for races (though I'm a bit larger than your average marathoner, so I'm guessing that's why).

    I have a friend who seriously every day makes an effort to go somewhere/do something where she'll be seen by potential guys. Even if it's just walk around the mall a couple times. She's still single too, but man she gets a lot of dates.
