So my main goal is simply balance. I want to balance FT work, FT school, and FT fitness!
My weeks change with every semester, but for the next few months, this is my plan:
I want to give IF a try, so everyday I will do so along with hitting my macros. I want to reduce my BF%
As far as fitness, this is my plan:
Monday: 6-14mi. track run after work
Tuesday: 55mins of circuits before class (may not be possible if I have too many assignments)
Wednesday: REST DAY
Thursday: Trail Run 5-7mi. before class
Friday: REST DAY
Saturday: Circuits or trail run
Sunday: Circuits or trail run
Keep in mind that I have class and work going on all of these days so I cannot be rigid about it, I need to be realistic. This is just a skeleton for me to work around. I have been doing this successfully for more than two weeks now so I plan to continue. The overall plan is to get in
a. 1 long track run a week
b. 2 days of circuits a week
c. 2 days of trail runs a week
Other goals:
I am going to graduate in Fall 2012 with my B.S. in Biology This is my passion. It is very important I do my trail runs because it keeps me in tune with the beauty of nature and my passion for life. Also, on every trail run it is mandatory that I smile and admire the beauty. It really makes me feel good through the whole day. I also like to repeat while I am running "I am open, I am happy"
I am also going to figure out what I want to do for my Masters. My heart is in conservation and organismal biology, but there is no money to be made in that. I am currently going through conflicts of making good money vs. following my heart. I currently work in Biotech with is obviously NOT into nature. I am debating between doing graduate research in Biology, or getting a business based degree similar to an MBA. By improving my health and fitness, I am hoping to gain a better perspective on what I want out of life and sticking to it.

Today was my first day trying out the baby version of IF. It was amazing. I was not hungry all day and my run was faster and easier than normal. I ran at an average of 8:30 pace for 69 mins. I felt light and energetic.
I ate right after my run and I still have a lot of calories to go but overall I am on my way to fulfilling my macros. Day 1 success!
My goal here is to work towards a consistent 8 min/mi for a 10k distance. Also, I want to eventually ditch the protein shakes as "crutches" to my fasting. But I am not ready to do so yet since it is just day one.0
