    I am 6 foot and about 192, and I wear a size 12 or 14 depending on fit/company. What brand do you find fits best? I buy a lot of Gap, but would love to branch out if anyone has a suggestion that is in that price range with 36 in inseams or longer.

    I'm 6'1" and 239lbs. I wear somewhere between a 18 and 20. It's been a while since I broke out my old jeans and tried them on. All I know is my size 22s are getting huge!

    I'm 5'9" and weigh 160 lbs. My jean size is 6 - 8 right now. I'm hoping to finish this whole thing off at a 4. :)

    I buy a lot from the GAP, but I also love American Eagle and Silver is my favorites :)

    This is an interesting post! I am 5'11", 171 and I wear 10s or 12s. I need a 34" inseam. But, if the jeans are labeled "tall" sometimes the crotch is too long and I hate that. They work better many times if they are just labeled "long". My best fitting jeans are Lucky, Eddie Bauer, Talbots. Please include your favorite designers so we can get ideas!

    Hair shy of 6' even, running 154 (although more atm, ty so much TOM! >_< ) and am a huge follower of Gap jeans. Their jeans styles have varying fits depending on body shape, and come in long and extra-long, so there are plenty of choices.

    I'm hippy-ish with a round rear, and am currently wearing a slightly baggy 6xl (lighter wash) in their long&lean jeans, and an nicely fitted 8xl (dark wash) in the perfect boot cut. Gap always runs tighter in the darker washes regardless of the style.

    And hurray for not having to special order jeans with a 37" inseam! Perfect with my boots, and just a small flip for flats. Yay!!!

    5'11", 234lbs, size 18/20 depending on the brand. I was a size 14 at 184lbs. Seems like I'll have to be 130lbs just to get into a size 8 :(

    I'm 6'0 and 203 pounds. I can get into a 14 now but I prefer a 16. I'm so jealous of those my height and weight wearing 12's. I have to lose about 15 pounds before I notice a size drop. :grumble:

    Same here! I hate it. I would LOVE to be a 14 at 203lbs. I had to get down to 184lbs to be a size 14 :( My body type must be really crappy..

    Uggh! How is it that we are the same height and I weigh 50lbs LESS that you, and we wear the same size?

    I'm 5'11", 180lbs, and wear a size 12. Would love to wear a ten...not sure if I'll ever wear a size 8.

    I'm 6', 275lbs and in a 20-22, depending on the brand/fit. My biggest problem with jeans is that I have no *kitten* to keep the things up. I'm constantly pulling my pants up!

    What I think is interesting about this post is seeing that it is possible for me to get down to a size 8(us) and not look sick.I've used that sorry excuse for a long time. But I'm 6ft 378 pounds and a size 26. my ultimate goal is to get down to the 160s and see how I feel then adjust for my body type. I'm all hips and thighs.

    5'10" 163lbs. Just got back into my size 12 jeans about 2lbs ago. If I make it to my goal weight of 150 I should be back in size 10s.

    Update: I'm down to 157 and I finally got back into my size 10s! I can still wear the 12s...they are just getting a little saggy and the 10s fit alot nicer now :)
