Hello all! My name is Emily and about 2 years ago I was diagnosed hypothyroid, went on two different synthetic hormones before switching/ finding a doctor that would put me on armour thyroid. All symptoms went away and the last time I was in they even talked about lowering my doses. Is anyone else on this?

He past few weeks I have been reading more websites and now think that I have other thyroid symptoms that I didn't
know we're symptoms! Like when I work out, my whole body gets very cold to the touch even when I am sweating a lot! (especially my tush and chest)

Also, my toes become icicles and at night I always feel as if I am going to wake up with a cold. My throat seems to always feel a bit off at the end of the night...

Anyone relate to my new symptoms?

Yes this sounds typical. I had thyroid cancer and had to have my thyroid removed. So, I am on Levoxyl for the rest of my life. My feet are always cold too. Taking a dose of Niacin seems to help with warming them up.

I have a horrible problem with being cold. I can't stand the cold. I get cold in the frozen food section of the grocery store...literally! Sometimes it feels as though my bones are breaking inside of me and if I fall I will crack into a million pieces. It hurts so bad that the only thing I can do is jump in a really hot shower (to thaw out).

I have to drink a lot of water during the day. At night I drink hot tea as my throat has a tickle or feels sore. I may have allergies, I have just not been checked yet.

I agree sweetie sometimes my hands and feet are so cold and then other times i am so hot that i get upset.. I am on Levothyroxine 200mg and i am going to see the specialist on the 23rd of this month to see what is going on.. once your levels are at the right place you should be able to see an improvement I hope you will feel better soon
