Im 34, 64 inches tall, and work as a mail carrier. I walk 5 days a week for 3 hours. Then i come home and walk my dog everyday for 30-60 minutes depending on weather. I also take in the occasional workouts, usually weekends for about an hour I do some cardio and i may take two classes of bootcamp (intense circuit training with weights and cardio.) My BMR is 1487. and this has my calorie goal for 1580 i believe. I was looking to lose a pound a week.

My settings are on active, and 4 workouts a week. I've hit a plateau and am stuck at 159....any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I am right where you are weight and height-wise, but you do quite a bit more daily exercise than me. My goal is 140 and I shoot for 1700-1800 cals a day and then if I have a big exercise day (like play tennis), I will eat more so I don't dip below BMR. And I am thinking I may be a little low by like 100 cals - (just got a fitbit tracker).
Using the fat2fit calculator - I see for lightly active, you should be between 1900-2000 cals a day. And it is likely you should be higher if you really do all that exercise. I did your calc here: http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/
Maybe just try bumping to between 1800-2000 for a few weeks and see what happens...I'm sure heybales will chime in. :-)0 -

Well, my spreadsheet doesn't have levels like that. Just putting in the basic info given above without knowing your level of rest, I'm getting 2000 daily goal easy, but may be less depending on sleep, may be more depending on that weekend workout time really. And that is easily over 1 lb weekly. I also get current BMR of 1411, unless you had a BF% you used.
If this is regarding another system besides this group, you probably grabbed the wrong group for the question.

While I could get into here, wrong group still. This method is for maximizing loss while protecting your BMR, because you are willing to do some homework to really nail your daily activity.0
