    It's hard to believe (or is it?) that he would have almost let *that* slip...but he was babbling, so maybe he was just going in to baby-talk-zone:

    I don't think it is. There's no other word that fits that would also cause him to stop and get that look on his face.

    i mean, this goes without saying. if he wasn't about to say an offensive slur, he wouldn't have started fumbling for words like that. he probably has used that 'nickname' for obama within his closed conversations and had a freudian slip of tongue. i personally found it hilarious albeit not surprising
