Hi everyone,

I just joined MFP and have already received several friends from posting on the Introduction topic. I wanted to let you know that I have joined MFP in order to control my carbs, fat and protein while I work on my strength and running training. My nutritionist had me sign up and little did I know I would find such a great group of people from all over the country!!

I am running the Boston Marathon on April 16th for Autism and I have just created a facebook page called Racing for Autism and hope that any of you that are on facebook will "like" our page and join our Racing for Autism team - you do not need to be racing a race to join and we take all human beings that walk, run, bike, swim, etc......or support those that do.
Please see our website at www.racingforautism.org and our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/RACING4AUTISM

Also, I have a special reason that I created this organization Racing for Autism as my son, Lance who is 11 years old was diagnosed at 5 years old with ASD. Read about him here as well as see what I am up to and why I am running the Boston marathon: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http://conta.cc/Hj65Rr&h=kAQFbIdPvAQHFvF4af3DA6vVqp3ueSiNJnIHCW3CTG1VpDQ

Please friend me on MFP so that I can cheer you on and help you with your goals as well as help you find invaluable information about Autism.....now being diagnosed at a rate of 1 to 88 nationwide according to the CDC.

Have a wonderful Saturday night,
