I'm really, struggling with this last poundage. I found that I still have too much sodium and sugar in my diet just hiding in foods I didn't think would have that!!! Sneaky buggers!! Plus TOM is interfering too. At least I hope that's why the setback.

Slow and steady sounds good - I think I set my goal weight of 190 from my start of 209 too low. 2lbs a week may be more than I can do
Currently going up and down around 203 - hoping to get to ONEderland! before memorial day! Positive thoughts only - not going up is wonderful too!

I'm glad you're not losing motivation! I know exactly how hard this can be sometimes, and I have been where you are. If it's coming off slowly, it's still coming off, the point is that you keep putting in the effort, and you WILL reach your goals, when it's meant to happen. This isn't a 9 week long journey, it's a lifelong journey, so slow and steady is GREAT! Keep up all the good work!

    START 223.8

TEENSY loss..a bit frustrating, but I think I need to take measurements now, as I think my loss is showing itself in a different way.

    GO US!! =)
  • Starting Weight: 158
Lowest weight since MFP: 143 (gained a bit after a plateau)
    Current weight: 147.4
    April 1-7 weight: 148 :(

I am not doing so well. Having a really hard staying on track with my food. I am so hungry when I get home from work and I eat a meal basically. Then I turn around and eat another meal a few hours later! I think I may work toward my lowest MFP weight by memorial day, then I will have a solid 10 to lose for summer. Losing 10 pounds by memorial day was setting my hopes too high, and I think some emotions with that daunting task might also be contributing to my eating habits! I need spring semester to end so I can start working out again!
  • Beginning of Challenge Weight: 146

    Current Weight 142.6

    Difference -3.4 lbs

    Memorial Day Goal 136

Wow 6.6 lbs to go. I know I can do that.

Keep up the good work Group!!!
  • Some really amazing results for the first week. Those that maintained or felt they had little losses try and remember 1-2 lbs is healthy weekly weight loss. Larger people will lose more sometimes, those that really exercise and those just beginning may have a bigger loss due to the water weight they lose. So stay strong and stick with the program. Dont beat yourself up if you have an off day eating wise, just move on and dont look back.

    Happy Friday to ALL.

Haven't Lost anything yet! So frustrated! I've been working out everyday and drinking tons of water, most days I'm well under my calorie goal. I really hope I'm gaining muscle and loosing fat...
