I have two beautiful baby's. My ginger male is 9 months and my little black female is 7 months old. The problem I have is that the ginger's breath smells terrible :embarassed: .. and dont know why! Is there something a person can do to make it better?

Has anyone ever tried to brush cat's teeth? How on earth do you do that? :noway:

I have 2 cats - Lily is 6 and Molly is 4. My vet recommended that I brush their teeth, and I do it occasionally, but not nearly as often as I should. For some reason brushing their teeth is easier than cutting their nails.

I bought a kit at Petsmart - little toothbrush and nasty toothpaste. I kind of stand behind them while I pry their mouth open and brush as best I can. I try and get the gums and the far back teeth. I'm probably not brushing them as well as I could, which is why I need to do it more but cats have little mouths!. Their heads jerk from side to side, but I do it when they're lying down so they can't move too much and they can't bite if you keep their mouth open. Like I said, I'd rather brush their teeth than cut their nails any day of the week.
