Friday updates!

I know it's Easter so maybe everyone has family type of plans but I'm being nosey (as always)! Any plans?
As for me, I have a cool concert tomorrow (The Toadies) and then I'm going to an 80's party at a club downtown. I cannot.wait! I'm going with my neighbor (the one I went out with a couple of weeks ago) so it should be fun.
For Easter Sunday I'm hanging out with the FL. We're both off and as of right now, we have no plans. I wanted to go to San Marcos river to tube but apparently they don't open until May. :ohwell: So not sure exactly what we'll do.. maybe barbeque/ pool?
I do have a date on Tuesday. (I hate blabbing about them on here because when I do, they turn out BAD) I'm actually very excited about it. He's from POF and we've been talking for a week now (he hasn't logged on since we started chatting though). He's called/texted, seems interested and finally asked me out. He'll be out of town over the weekend which is why I'm being tortured until Tuesday. I get giddy talking to him. Blah, I hate liking them before we even meet. This guy seems normal but fun. He's 29 though but he's 6'2, plays flag football in a league and has good southern manners.
Oh and military guy.. haven't heard from him. I forgot to mention.. so he was a set up by a friend who knew a friend sort of thing. So my friend doesn't know much about him. Well the night of our canceled date, I came across his profile on POF. :laugh: He was new on there. I didn't think nothing of it... but I did see him log on late that night. I texted him the next day asking about the friend which he just said was in ICU. Didn't hear from him at all... then the next day, he deleted his profile. It was strange. So no more military guy! He's disappeared in every way! Poof!

Just rejoined the dating world, so playing on Match is going to happen this weekend. I have already come across someone who has sparked my interest and I'm hoping maybe I can skip the million-and-a-half emails and hang out. :happy:
Other than that, cruising around in my pickup truck and enjoying the weather. :glasses:
My family isn't religious, so Sunday will be like any other day at my mother's with wine and cooking :drinker:0 -

Not super religious, but I will be traveling out of state to spend Easter with my parents and some extended family. It's also my sister-in-law's birthday, so hopefully we'll do something fun for that. I'm expecting it to be very low key.

My divorce might be final today (one week earlier than I expected), I'll find out in a few hours. If it is, then I'm definitely going out and partying.
I have a "run date" after work today to run across the bridge over part of the gulf. It's sooo nice today, too.
As for Saturday.. I think there's going to be something to do with a boat, lots of beer, and some sun.

I've been out with this one guy on about 4 dates, so this week we had a "kid date". (I've got 2, he's got one). It went really well...went out to dinner afterwards and to 16 Handles for yogurt! (The kids were only told that we were friends....so extremely platonic on an adult standpoint.)
And tonight we're going out again. It's strange though....I really like him alot but both of us (from the start) made it clear that we weren't really looking for anything serious. (For me, I just got back out into the dating world...). He knows I've been on a few dates with other guys and seems completely un-phased by that. We text back and forth a good part of the time, though we both hate talking on the phone so we rarely talk that way. I'm pretty sure he likes me a lot but I'm 99% sure he isn't going to be ready to commit to a "relationship". So I'm not sure where that leaves things. I'm content just "dating" but I'm not going to get intimate with someone who could possibly be doing the same with someone else. Maybe I'm old fashioned? Weird? But I don't see myself sleeping with anyone who isn't at least able to commit to the level that he's not going to be sleeping with someone else. (We haven't had that EXACT conversation, mind you.)

Easter is definitely family time for me, but I do have a "date" with my mom tomorrow to go shopping. She's been begging to buy me new clothes since Christmas and I finally decided to take her up on it this weekend.
The only clothes I've bought in the past year after starting to lose weight were belts and underwear. All of my clothes are way too big now and I can't make anymore excuses to put off buying new ones.0 -
Well as soon as I drop my kids off at thier dads I have to go pick my sister best friend up from the airport. The the drinking and crazziness shall begin.... I think FWB might be coming out tonight but I know atleast 1 or 2 of the chasers is coming out. Plus its friday night so the bar will be packed lol :drinker:0

My plans after work are the gym. Tomorrow hang out with the kiddos. Sunday I get to see my "whatever you want to call him"....the guy from work that I've been seeing. Hope everyone enjoys their plans!!!0
