blisters question

Thursday morning I went for a run (week 3 day 1 of bridge to 10km).
Part of this run was on a trail. Well a bit of gravel got into my shoe via my sock and started to rub against the arch of my foot. I knew I blister was forming.
Anyway got home, and put one of those advanced healing blister block band-aids on.
Well today (saturday), I went for another run (week 3 day 2 of b210k), and well I could feel the blister starting to hurt again in the last leg (last 3km or so). I think it's because I was not wearing my normal running socks.
Anyway the band-aid was suppose to stay on for days, but it moved, so I went to take it off, and it got stuck. So I had to cut the band-aid off, carefully as to not cut off any skin. The blister partially burst.
Anyway, I've cleaned it up, re bandaged it.
My question is, how long would you leave it to heal before you go for another run. And would you go for another long run, or just a short one?
I've also have new running shoes on layby/layway that I'm hoping to pick up in a few weeks. My left foot slightly over pronates (the foot that has the blister on it), (i know the cause of why it does it), hence why the new shoes.

Are they Asics? Replace the insole with a gel insole. Wear running socks.
I bandage and keep running. Moleskin works better than bandaids on arches.0 -
yes they are ascis. obviously a common problem them.
thanks for the advice, will take it on board.0 -
I was just rebandaging my hand today (fell while running yesterday - road rash!) and remembered that the moleskin also slipped when I had blisters on my arch. It was fine on the toes, but I guess I sweat more in the arch. What worked on the arch was actually Second Skin burn dressings.
The "lasts" in the Asics are two-piece rather than one piece, and they are stitched right under the arch. You will see this when you remove the factory insoles. That is what is causing the arch blisters. A gel insole and running socks (I use Wilson's 'guaranteed no blister') you should be fine.
I will probably still buy Asics for my next pair of shoes, because I run with a lift and I need a deep heel cup and those extra shoelace eyelets in order to keep my heel from rubbing or coming out of the shoe due to the lift.0
