Tabouli salad
Serving size:1cup Serves 4-5 cups Calories: 190 ca/cup
Ingredient:
1 cup Bulgar wheat
2 cups boiling water
2 tomatoes, diced finely
4 -5 green onions, sliced
2 cups fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (or more to your taste)
1/4 cup olive oil
salt
Directions:
* Before you start chopping anything, put the Bulgar wheat in a bowl and add the water to it. ( I usually add two cups of lemon juice to it instead of the water, it gives it a good taste and it doesn't need to be heated)
* Chop/dice everything else and add them together.
* Add the Bulgar wheat to the mixed vegetables, but make sure that the Bulgar wheat is soft before you add it.
* Add lemon juice, salt and olive oil to taste.
Now, you can eat it right away, but it tastes better when it's cold0
