Happy Easter! I was searching the groups this morning and found this group. I am so glad to have a Catholic support group on this site. I am also a cradle Catholic with several years of Catholic schooling right through high school.
Thanks!

I got fired from a catholic school once. well kinda. I was choreographer for the high school musical and when the musical director left and was replaced, she brought in her own people. first, I'm glad cos the woman is a cow and second, can you believe what those kids could do to a uniform?

I din't go to confession for YEARS - it's the only part of my conversion that "didn't take." About 2 years ago, my priest encouraged me to go every month, which I have done. It wasn't until last month that I felt truly forgiven (though I realize each time I have gone, I have been.)

I have really benefited from good spiritual direction in confession. There is nothing like talking to a wise priest who has a good knowledge of the struggles we all go through and who can advise and point you in a good direction. Plus there is a real benefit to assessing your life in the light of the Gospels more than twice a year. Regular confessions is a beam of light in the darkness.
