Ok so Saturday night I go out with my BF (Best Friend) and my FWB and a few of my boys. Were all hanging out getting drunk as skunks. My BF ends up really drunk so I stopped drinking cause now I have to drive her car back to my house. My FWB and I were sharing a pitcher of blue long islands. Were having a blast being all flirty and joking around. We decide that hes gonna follow me to the house so I can drop off my BF and then were gonna go to another bar. Well I get to my house drop my BF off and still no FWB. I wait about 10 min and call him, he doesn't pick up. So I shoot him a text"hey where you at?" I wait about 15 more mins then go to bed but I cant fall asleep cause I'm worried about him. Well he calls me about 45 min later. The cops had found him sitting in his car with the foot on the brake about 5 min from my house passed out in the car. The cops had to reach in and shut off his car and put it in park. The cops determined that someone had slipped him something. When he and I started talking about it we realized that someone had probably mistaken his drink for mine (since we where drinking the same thing) and he had been roofied. I picked him up and brought him to my house where I made sure he was ok. This is why you have to be sooo careful with your drinks people. Make sure you watch your pitchers and drinks and put the pitchers in the middle of your group.

Luckily hes ok and didnt end up in jail or as road kill. Just wanted to share and remind people how important is it to be careful/

P.S. His dad and him seemed so suprised that I was willing to keep an eye on him and make sure he was ok so he wasn't alone for the day. Silly don't you think

Eak. Glad you are both okay. My boyfiends' cousin was roofied at a bar in San Marcos last year, but was not so lucky. :/

Again glad you are both okay!

He is lucky he wasn't in Texas, alcohol in his system, behind the wheel of a running car, in the roadway = DWI if his BSC was over.08 no questions asked! They normally don't test for other drugs unless they take a blood sample.

I thought that was pretty much every state. I am shocked he didn't go to jail either. Lucky that he is alive really.

Wow Jen, that's scary! I never give this kind of thing a second thought. Mind you, my drink is usually plastered to my hand

Glad FWB is ok, and that he took the hit. Great policing too!! :flowerforyou:

This happened to me when I was about 19. My roommate and I went out for drinks and she insisted afterwards we go to this guy's house with his friend. They came to pick us up and you know I had that gut feeling that this was not a good situation. But she kept pressuring me and I buckled. We get there and they offer us these two red solo cups of drinks. I just sipped mine slowly but she gulped hers down. She was a mess in a matter of 20 minutes. I realized we were being drugged when I was on the sofa half awake and came to with dude staring me right in the face. Guess he was checking to see if I was knocked out yet. I was so disoriented walking home and she stayed because she was so drugged. It was a horrible situation. Now I babysit my drink like it's a piece of gold!

I'm happy that you were both ok. Some people are truly just scum. Stay safe!

They didn't administer a blow test and he passed all the standard sobriety test. You know walk a line touch your fingers to your nose and such. They cops were the ones who told him someone had slipped him something.
ETA: when I say we were drinking like crazy I meant my BF. We were there for hours and only went through 4 pitchers between 3 people
