ME! After 3 years, 3 months, 2 weeks, and 25 pounds(about 10% of my peak weight ) I finally had a period without being on BC. I was out of town so I had to walk to a nearby 7/11 and buy supplies. I was beyond GEEKED, crampy yet GEEKED! I hoping and praying that this wasn't a one time occurance and that it will come again as it's supposed to.
Just wanted to give you all that praise report.
Stick with the weight loss ladies, it works! I got tired of trying to balance my horomore levels artificially and decided to let my body do the work and it's working. Add me if you need encouragement. I'm on MFP everyday.

I feel you guys! When I was younger I only had a period once every 6 months to once every year. Then I started birth control and spironalactone and it really helped me get regular.I was on it for 10 years. Now I am off the pill and spiro and trying to get pregnant. I was so afraid when I first got off the pill and spiro because I had no idea how my body was going to react. When I was younger in high school I was about 50 lbs heavier than I am now also. But, I have been so excited that i am having a perfect 28 day cycle for the past 5 months! Really hoping I will be able to get pregnant and this gives me hope lol0

Good luck! There is a PCOS group for those that are trying to conceive. They may have some more advise fo you.0
