A GF Easter!!

I am feeling rather pleased with myself.
We had family over for Easter/grandsons birthday dinner and I managed to go GF for the meal!! I did have rolls on the table for everyone else but the rest of the meal was gluten free. (except the pie for dessert - which I did not have)
I was a bit worried, especially about the gravy, but everyone said what a great meal it was and that the gravy was very good!! Then I told them all it was gluten free
For me hot cross buns are a requirement for Easter Sunday breakfast, and didn't know how I would do without them. Then I went searching for recipes - I found one for GF hot cross bunss, so I got to baking and they were actually pretty good!! They needed to be heated up to make them more 'bun' like - but I enjoyed every bite...and so did my husband and mother.
This weekend really helped me to see that I can be GF and not feel so deprived all the time.
I just wanted to share with you all

That is awesome! I have such a hard time because I'm the only person, besides my uncles wife who we never see, that is on a gluten free diet! Easter was so hard! Sometimes I sneak stuff in that is gluten free and tell them after they say its delious0
