Hi all,

I'm at D08L02.
This level is being much more challenging to me, as i have a weak upper body, but i'm impress...now i'm able to do all the plank movements (like Anita).

Lost some weight since the beginning of 30DS (1.5 lbs) and 6 inches so far.

Wednesday will be pic day.
I took some in the end of L01 (didn't took any in the beginning of 30DS). I'm hopping to see some results.

How is being/was for you?

Kisses,
Tatyanne

I did Day 1 of Level 2 last night and was surprised that it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be (although it was still really TOUGH!).

I managed the whole thing without a stop and did a mixture of Anita's easier (mostly upper body - I am still pretty feeble!) and Natalie's harder (mostly lower body - I already power walk/run, do ellipitcal and cycle a lot so my lower body strength is much better).

The abs work out was PAINFUL and at the end with the oblique planks I was really pouring with sweating and grunting with the effort :noway: - I admit there were soem swear words flying round my front room too:blushing:

Still, I can't wait to do Day 2 tonight - does that make me some sort of masochist?

I've done 10 days of level 2 now but because I moved up from level 1 early, I still have 3 days to go. The improvement has been amazing, I started off hardly being able to keep up with Anita and now I'm doing mostly Natalie but with a little Anita (mainly for the walkout push ups).

I like level 2 now though so I'm scared to move up to level 3!

Quick question though: Can you get the weights to eye level on the last strength move? I really can't and I'm grunting by the end of it!

I'm on either day 5 or 6 of L2. I'm still struggling! The cardio kills me on this one. And I can't do the plank burpees or plankjacks because they hurt my hips and groin area which I pulled the other day. So I just do lots of jumping jacks.

I moved up from L1 two days early, so I'm staying on L2 those extra days. I feel like I'm going to need the extra endurance for L3.

I am psyched that I can do the pushups and ab workouts with little trouble though. :)

Overall, this level is having me huffing and puffing, but I love the burn.

Oh, and those weight lifts at the end are killer. I can only do 3lb lifts for those. I figure that if I sink down as low as possible, I don't have to raise my arms as high...lol. It's not exactly logical but it gets me through.

Love this! Level 2, Day 4. I totally feel the same! I thought yesterday I would "push harder" like Jillian keeps telling me, and today my right knee hurt. I guess I pushed a little too much for me. I didn't sink as far today. I don't raise the weights (5lbs) to eye level though. I try to sink like Natalie and raise my arms like Anita. Does anyone else have a balance issue with the leg kick shoulder raise thing? I know Jillian says the stronger you are, the more balance you have, but heck! I have to start my leg and then work in the arms or my leg goes down!

I am on level 2 day 3...it is SO HARD..i am getting through it,but it is very very VERY hard on my hands and ankles.. and all those planks..whew! i have no upper body strength whatsoever and it is literally making me sweat to my *kitten*..but it is a good thing though!! :)
Usually by the end of the 27mins i start feeling nauseous!!!
And even i feel the same as Live829 about the leg kick shoulder raise thing!I have ZERO balance while doing that thing!

Sorry you are having the same trouble! I, too, have no upper body strength to speak of. I pushed through today and have 5 more days to go on level 2!!! Good luck everyone!

My knees have been feeling this DVD for weeks. Yikes. I do those knee circle stretches as part of my warmup even though she doesn't on L2. I also stretch my legs and quads a lot after. That and some ice and ibuprofen help. :/

For balance, I definitely can tell my legs are getting stronger. I have been working my legs a lot since January/February though. But my balance has significantly improved. Keep it up!!

You know, I didn't even think about the fact that we aren't doing the knee stretches on this level. I will start doing those b/c I am feeling it in my right knee every day. I want to keep on but certainly don't want an injury! Thanks for bringing that up!!!

I did day 2 of level 2 today and its killer. I never thought I would miss level 1 so much! I felt sick and really didn't sweat much today even though I was working harder, , so I don't think I was hydrated enough. I drank 2.5 glasses of water before, but I don't think I waited long enough for it to sink in.

Does anybody know the difference between the squats and the chair squats? I don't really feel a difference.
