Does anyone use fish oil? I just got this Medscape article that showed that it was not any better than placebo either individually or with interferon. But the interesting thing was that the article notes that the most common alternative treatment used in MS is fish oil.
Anyone use it? What do you think of it?
Here is the link to the article if you're interested (it just came out in Archives of Neurology):

Other than it being good for omega 3 I haven't heard of anyone using it for ms. I'm not a real fan of adding a lot of extra things to my diet - unless they come in the food that I eat. I do use the omega 3 tablets because my neuro suggested it might help with the short term memory problems I am having, and I take my 4000 IU of vit D daily.0
