Hi MFP friends -
A friend of mine was seriously injured in a mountain biking accident on the day before Easter. She went over her handlebars, landed on her head, breaking 3 vertebrae in her spine and paralyzing her from the chest down. She is making amazing progress already, but will be in the hospital for 3 to 4 months, and her sweet little family is going to need some financial help.
She's a 29-year old mom of two young kids and is one amazing person to be around. She is always thinking of others first and now she needs others to help her.
I know this is a strange thing to post on MFP - I've debated whether it's OK or not - BUT I'm stopping at nothing to get the word out about Brittany, so there you go.
If you want to find out more about her story and/or feel like you can contribute to her family, they have a website through a reputable fundraising site: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/92123?c=home
