Haven't lost in a week -- need help

At my husband's urging, I'm posting this.
I haven't lost weight in a week, even though I've eaten under my allowance and have done some mild exercise. I thought it was salt, but it's been several days now, and the husband has lost weight. It's not my TOM either. Any idea what's going on? My food log is open.

Maybe you aren't eating enough calories. Change it up a little. Or just give it some time. I go for weeks at a time and don't lose and then all of a sudden I lose 6 pounds. You could go to weighing only 1 time/month so you don't have to face this demon. I hate the scale. Also, you might be losing inches. Try taking your measurements at least once a month. You would be surprised at what you lose inch wise when you don't lose pounds.0

Sometimes you lose inches with out see the scale move. Give it some time. I haven't seen my scale move lately but I did put on a smaller pair of pants and they fit!0

Try for a spike day where you 'net' (eat) all your calories for the day. Don't leave any extra calories out there.
Also, try to incoporate more fruit and vegetables into your daily diet.
Watch the sodium, it really does make a difference and you were in the red a few days.0 -
I once went for 18 weeks and didn't lose 1 ounce littlelone a pound. I worked out 4 - 5 times a week for 1 - 1.5 hours and I followed the "food rules" pretty religiously. I was at my witts end. Went to the dr, I knew I didn't need a fill, she agreed. I saw my nutritionist. Took my food and exercise logs to her and she just shook her head. Said I was absolutely right on point doing everything right. I wondered about increasing my food intake because of the exercise, maybe i wasn't getting enough calories (starvation mode) neither agreed with that. (I don't think they exactly believe in the starvation mode thing) My Nut. asked me when it was the last time I weighed what I currently weighed. I told her 30 years ago (I still weigh 280 pounds I started out at 432). She said that it could be that my body was finally saying, after 140 pounds of weight loss, ENOUGH. your not a thin person you are a heavy person and I (my body) am going to resist everything you do to try to be thinner. She loved my exercise routine and commitment but suggested I change some of my cardio to strength training. I started taking a "body pump" class at the fittness center 2 or 3 times a week. It is weight lifting and strength training to music. (5 - 20 pound weights) I lost 8 pounds in 5 weeks! My weight loss is finally moving again. Maybe it was the "body pump" class. Maybe my body finally stopped resisting whatever it was I broke through a torturous plateau.
If you are eating right and exercising.... eventually it has got to give. Keep up the battle!0 -
Thanks. I think part of the problem was sodium and part was that I had eaten two few calories the first week, before I started MFP. I've finally lost a little this week, so it appears my body's cooperating again. I'm also tracking sodium in my food log.0

So this is what my weight loss looked like. How discouraging is that big spike back up, even though I did nothing to warrant it? But I did work through it and started losing again. So glad I stuck with it.
Yes, I weigh every day just so I can get an idea of where I'm headed and don't get discouraged by one bad day,0
