Has anyone been able to find an au jus gravy mix that is gluten free? We used to buy and use the McCormick Au Jus Mix all the time until celiacs disease reared it's ugly head....

3 cups water
4 teaspoons beef bouillon (or 4 cubes)
1 teaspoon soy sauce*
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper
Directions:
1
Place the water in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil.
2
Reduce heat to low; whisk in the beef bouillon.
3
Whisk in the soy sauce, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
4
If you like a thicker Au Jus gravy, you can also whisk in a little flour* to thicken it.

*Just make sure you're using gluten free soy sauce and obviously don't thicken it with a gluten containing flour.0 -
Thanks for the recipe. I did find some of those online.
I'm wondering if there's a "rip the package open, pour contents in" sort of mix anyone knows about.0 -
As far as I've been able to tell? No. All of them have gluten at the moment. Hopefully that will change at some point but until then you can make up a recipe and freeze batches of it in the amounts you need. Then just nuke it and you're good to go.0
