Hello,
I know this may seem strange to ask but the following families need help. If you can please take a moment out of your busy schedule to read this and maybe make a donation that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Remember, every little bit helps but I understand people might be sketched out by "is this a scam" ... I promise you NO, it is not a scam in any way, shape, or form!!!!!
If you're not able to donate money could you PLEASE do me a HUGE favor and pass the links along to EVERYONE you know on MFP?!? I have been starting forums, and making it my status - if you could do the same if only for a day the families would appreciate it.
There are 3 links posted and if/when you click on them it'll tell you the story of why they need donations ... I'll sum it up but the links will tell you the entire story.
The first link is for a friend from back home. She was recently in an accident and has been fighting for her life - every day she makes a little progress but it's still a long road to recovery. Friends are trying to raise money for Katie for all the medical bills she and her husband will face (ambulance and helicopter rides, and treatment from 3 different hospitals). The second llink is for a woman named Melissa. I did not know her but she from my home state and I want to help out any way I can. Last but not least, the third link is for a woman named Kerri. She is a huge inspiration to people in the MFP family and is always there for people when they need someone. Her fiance recently passed away and we are trying to spread the word to as many people as possible so that donations can be made in Tj's (her late fiance) honor - a way to give back to Kerri for everything she does for people on here. Again, I understand if people do not want to donate because aren't sure if the links are a scam or not. I can assure you these are not scams - if that's the case just please pray for the families and pass along the links to as many people as possible so we can get as many donations as possible.
