intro / what do you do for exercise?

wow! Lot's of peeps close by me! I had no idea!
I talked to a lady in Baton Rouge one day when I was out on a walk during my lunch, and she told me her hubby and her were both on MFP. It's funny that it is such a small world
Anywhoo.... what does everyone do for exercise?
I have ran 5 5k's and a 10k. I am doing Happy's 1 mile beer run next weekend :drinker: and another 5k on May 5th. I am training for a half marathon in January (the Louisiana Marathon's half).
I walk 2-3 days a week, I run 2-3 days a week, I just started doing p90x, but I am not doing it straight through, I am just doing a dvd when I can't run / walk, and to mix up my routine a little.

Hi! 5 days a week I go to the gym. I do a 10 minute treadmill warmup then hit the weights for an hour and a half. Then the stationary bike for about 20 minutes to cool off some. Then in the evenings I usually walk at least 2 miles. I'm 49 and a smoker (just started Chantix to help me quit though) and can't run like I used to. I'm working up to it I live in Northwest LA, but I actually grew up in Denham Springs!! I lived there from the time I was born until age 13 when my dad found Toledo Bend Lake and decided to retire early and fish the rest of his life lol. So here I am!!0

Right now I just walk. Planning to add weight training once make room in the office so I can actually use the bench. :bigsmile:0

Right now I'm only walking. I try to walk a minimum of 1 mile a day. Sometimes I can push myself to do more. Tonight/morning (it's 12:24 AM here) I walked a little over 2 and a half miles!
