Hi everyone. I have been searching these groups and message boards wondering if I am the oldest person to ever post on MFP. Gosh, wasn't that long ago when I was young. The years do fly by so quickly.
Had right hip replacement surgery in January. Before that, years before, both knees were replaced. Arthritis is not for sissies! Anyone else here with new parts?

:drinker: Hi I'm connie I dont have new parts but I do know what pain is!!! Welcome to our group, I know you will like it here. I've been here since march 11th, only lost three lbs but have lost 2 inches in my waist and 2 in my hips so i'm good with that. I'm from Riddle, Oregon. Live in the country, Tho we are getting ready to move to portland Oregon as my husband is going to have a heart transplant. Dont think I'm gonna like living in the city. I have lost 60lbs in the last 7mos and still have 60 more to go. Better quit yacking and get dinner ready, So glad your with us:flowerforyou:0

Connie - Your husband has some serious surgery coming up and I wish him the very best. I have a son with Cystic Fibrosis and he will be facing a lung transplant in the future. So thankful these transplants are available.
