Welcome to the challenge!!!
But I think it might be less of a challenge and more of a support group so please post any TIPS, RECIPES, and HELPFUL HINTS you might have that have helped you get by day to day.

  • this is a good idea! I'd like to share what helped me look forward to making it through a big workout (big for me). I went to the library and got a couple of movies that I could watch while on my treadmill (bought it from a friend). I know this doesnt work for everybody, given your tv and (need to have)treadmill in same room with vcr, but if you do it is a nice distraction for a long walk (since i cant run that long). Another thing is I try to pre-enter my food choices so that i know what i can have and why helps me stick to the goal so i dont go over. If there is something i am craving i keep playing with the excercise entry til it is covered and make myself do it, otherwise i dont eat it. this has really helped me think about what and how much i am used to so flippantly eating. No idea how many calories etc were in so many foods i love. that is my problem i love to eat. food tastes so good. and the healthy stuff is expensive or nasty. anyway hope it helped and good luck everybody.
