Help with setting goals up

I want to try this Olivia Method but I am lost and feel silly I just can't wrap my brain around this. I have been on a stall for almost a month. I loose a little, gain it back, loose it again... and so on and so on. I just can't seem to get a handle on this. I keep reading all the posts about this methos but not sure how to set up right.

I am starting Insanity tonight - doing it as the program explained 6days on 1 day off. I will be working out a lot, and want to make sure I fuel my body enough, but still making sure I loose weight.

I am 5'7, 159lbs. I don't have a whole lot I want to loose maybe 15lbs, if that.

I used the calculation that came with the Insanity Program.

BMR
655+(4.35xweight)+(4.7xheight in inches)-(4.7xage)
655+691.65+314.90-126.90
= 1534.65

BMR plus exercise
1534.65x1.55 (Moderately Active 3-5days a week) I didn't want to over estimate
= 2378.71

So with that said my BMR is 1534.65 (MFP BMR tool shows a BMR of 1497) Pretty close.

Can someone please help me set up my daily calorie intake?

- How would you describe your normal daily activities? I have a desk job.
- How many times a week do I show myself workout?

    I may be slowly understanding.

    Since my daily work is sedetary (desk job) regardless of how much exercising I should set my activity level within MFP to this, and change my goal of weight loss to maintenance.

    This gives me a daily goal of 1870 at maintenance. I record my workouts and make sure to keep the REMAINING Calories GREEN to show 500 - 1000. Anything over 1000 I should eat?
