Does Miami take Ryan Tannehill 8th overall?

They have a pretty big decision here, because IMO Tannehill isn't ready to be a starter yet. He has the potential to be something special, but he's gotta develop.

Why the sudden need for a college qb to move immediately into the starting lineup? For every Cam Newton there is a Jamarcus Russell. For every Peyton Manning there's a Ryan Leaf. Not counting the 2004 Draft, you're not going to catch lightening in a bottle with first round qbs every year (not counting JP Losman).
That being said, Tannehill will be a top ten pick, but ideally, he should go to a team that can groom him for a year or two. Let him learn and mature and turn into something because I don't care how good these qb's were in college, they have no idea how fast the NFL game is. Defenses are CRAZY fast. And if you have a tough rookie year, it can set a qb back both developmentally and confidence-wise.0 -

I agree, especially with all of the QBs in next year's draft, no need to over reach for a QB.
That being said, go Redskins! Go RG3 lol0 -
Yes, and their goal of selling more tickets will work, until everyone realizes that Tannehill sucks.
Tannehill shot up the board based on what he did in a t-shirt and shorts. Nothing he did in college makes him worthy of a 1st round pick. He's more of a late-round project.0
