Hey ladies,
So I'm trying to incorporate more variety in our meals that are also healthy. Last night, I decided to make "chicken wontons"..my made up name for it.
I took wonton wrappers and stuffed them with a chicken mixture & baked. It was yummy!!
My mixture:
boil chicken breast meat & then run it through the food processor
dice up 1/2 an onion & about 3/4 cup baby carrots in food processor
Sautee veggie stuff in about 2 tsp olive oil, add tamari sauce (or soy sauce), add parsley and celery seed
Sautee for about 5 mins or so, then remove to a mixing bowl & add chicken
Add in a couple of tablespoons of spicy southwest mustard (enough to make the mixture moist)
Scoop by the tsp into your wonton wrappers.
WE LOVED THIS!! I served it with a veggie stir fry and couscous. I'm definitely making it again!
