So I currently weigh 224, 32yrs, female, 5'2.. I took the fit test yesterday and today started with the workout program. I was able to complete 20 minutes of it. Wondering if I am nuts for trying this at my weight..
Anyone start this morning at a heavy weight??

I would say.... just do the best you can do. Don't try and keep up them... just do what YOU can do. :)

I started in the mid 190's at 5'7.5". Do what you can do, and you'll see amazing results:)

I just did the fit test yesterday and my first workout today- it's a lot harder than the bike riding and weight lifting I've been doing for the last four months for sure. But with the bike riding I started out a little rough in January and I just pushed myself a little harder and a little farther each day. I still remember the spot I quit and turned around on the first ride- it's pretty close to my house and when I pass it now I'm barely getting warmed up. I'm taking the same approach with Insanity- just pushing myself and doing the best I can and working for improvement.

I don't think it's a good idea since there is a lot of jumping but if you want to do it.
Get a high impact foam mat ( I got 1 at walmart for $18), it helps protect your knees.
Charlean Turbo Fire also does burn lots of fat and she does not jump much. Check her out, you may like it.
