Remember my friend who's having a great time with eHarmony? Welll!!!! One of our mutual friends (who I've been kinda trying to set her up with by inviting him to all of our group events) showed up on her Matches list.

They're both supposed to be at my house today for singles lunch and a friends' birthday party.

This should be gooooood!

They both came over, we all had a great time, he sent her a “wink” while they were at my house… but neither broached the subject. The conversation really didn’t allow for it, and after we kicked the guys out (so we could dish) none of us ladies could come up with a witty way to initiate discussion.

So Janie, have I got this right? The guy likes your mate, cos he winked at her after seeing her IRL?? But you dont know if your mate feels the same???

ASK HER!!! We need to know!!!

AnnaPixie, unfortunately, I've got too many of my IRL friends on MFP to answer this question of who likes who ;-) These people have all known each other in friendship roles for a long time.

Rest assured, onece public action is taken I will post!

I just think it's funny that the two people I was trying to set up (but trying hard to NOT make it look that way) turned up as matches on eHarmony.

Boo! How does a guy wink at a girl online when she's in the same home/club/place as he is? No wonder she didn't respond.

That's such a cute coincidence! You must have Cupid's genes in you.

I agree... he needs to show some interest in person... not wink at her online. wth? Maybe that is why she wasn't too thrilled. Or was she???
