Arrrgh. I feel like it's been forever since I posted on here!
So much has happened since, lol. I'm still talking to SL. I went to his first softball game last night, and I had my dogs with me, so afterwards I went over to his place and met his dogs (they just came in over the weekend), and my dogs met his dogs too. So far so good, lol.
This weekend was my friend C's last weekend out before she moves, and who was I to run into but an obsessive ex at the bar? He was with some cute friends, so I took one for the team and tolerated his company so C could have some fun with Purple Shirt Guy (who we appropriately named "Purple"). I told him, "Look! I'm not interested! I'm seeing someone!" and yet he still is asking me out on dates and being all sadface/clingy. I can't stand clingy men. He's so freaking hot too, but his clinginess just turns me straight off.
Last Friday SL and I finally went to the driving range! I did pretty well, sucked with my irons but beasted it with my driver. I'll probably go again this weekend.
We were talking on the phone night before last, and I said something about doing something next month "if we're still talking" and he goes, "you know what that means," and I say, "what? you're gonna be my.......boyfriend if we keep talking?" and he jokes around, "ooooh you said it!"
I love his dogs too. They're so freakin' adorable.
Oh and I'm buying a new car this week! I'm buying an Acura RSX-S like I used to have before I was married. So excited.
I was going to not drink this weekend to try and save money, but then I remembered it's CINCO DE MAYO. Coronarita time. :drinker:

Nice update hun! Sounds like you and SL are going THAT way....
We introduced my yappy 4lb little ankle biter to his 50lb+ labs (he has 2) and my yappy dog didn't do so well... Haha.. it's funny though because my dog LOVES Smiley. She was abused earlier in life and so she's always had a fear of men but with Smiley she loved him right from the start. He's gentle with her so he makes her feel at ease.
As for Cinco de Mayo... I'm celebrating my b-day that day and cannot wait. It shall be memorable. :drinker:0 -
