  • I missed 5 days of exercise. Went out of town, worked the early shift, family came to town. The only good thing I did was stick close to my diet and lost another pound and half. Wahoo. My 30DS disk quick working. Now doing Level 1 Day 1 30 day Ripped this morning. Sweating like a dog. Feeling good. Didn't look good.......LOL but feeling good. Thats what matters.

Anyone else having terrible keeping their hand placement right during the planks?

Yes on the hand placement. On Level 3 there are several plank moves and i am always readjusting my hands. Glad to hear I'm not alone!

Good morning JM lovers! L2D4 for me today. D3 wasn't so bad. I just have to work on those walk out planks and planks twists.

    Enjoy your day!

I had never heard of a plank until this DVD. I am still working on mine too! I never could walk out and push up, so I walked out and back and was proud of it! : ) The twists- Uggghhhh!

Between my hands and mat being sweaty I'm constantly moving my hands around during planks. I hate them :grumble: but they do work. Busy night ahead - hoping to get a 30 DS workout in before bed.

I readjust my hands too. My wrists hurt and my hands get sweaty. You gotta do what you gotta do! ;)

Last day of 30ds for me today. Tomorrow is going to be a rest day...maybe with some light yoga. Then on to NMTZ and BFBM. Eek.

I have made cuts into my mat with my finger nails doing the walk out push ups. Glad to hear I am not alone with the hand placement on the planks. Natalie and Anita and Jillian for that matter, make it look so easy until I fall flat on my face. :noway:

MAN!! I just notices that these days are rolling by. I better put a move on my 3-2-1. I'm trying to suck in my belly button while I'm typing!!

Missed a work out yesterday as we were out from 10am to 8pm taking DH motorbike to have a sidecar fitted (not for me - I ride my own  ) so back on it hard tonight. I might try and get half an hour on the bike in earlier in the evening and do the shred late on as a bit of pay back from yesterday.

Weigh in tommorow, but I think I might either have a STS or a wee bit of a gain - I am the only one who hasn't seen spectacular results in the weight loss department on the shred?? Oh, but the tape measure is looking good

Workout done!! I love Jillian... she's shrunk a little bit of everything! I'm most proud of my thighs and belly :) I can't wait to see the end results :)

I've been doing my workouts barefoot though and today I noticed my ankle seems a little sore. :( I guess it's time to get a new pair of sneakers to wear in the house.

I am right here with you on the weight loss. I have lost several inches but gained weight the first level, got back down my starting weight, and go back and forth each week. Kind of frustrating, but I will let the lost inches do the talking!

The scale is barely moving. I've been doing extra cardio to alone with JM. I cheated and did some measurements last night and I was pleased.

I had a bit of a gain at first, dropped a few, then barely anything moved for L2 (flopped back and forth by a pound), then back on track from L3. At the end, I was down 6 lbs (two of those in this last week) and lost 9 inches. I am thinking the measuring tape is my new bestie...unless it stops moving, of course. ;)

Good for you! I'm scared to measure yet!

Just finished Day 6 Level 2 30DS - sweat is pouring out of me! My hands get sweaty and keep slipping on the planks too! I do feel like I'm getting stronger & stronger. Long way to go but I'm going!!!

I doubled up today, did my Level 2 day 8 this am to make up for missing yesterday, and then this afternoon I moved up and did Level 3, Day 1 30DS.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

I haven't seen any scale movement, haven't checked my measurements. But then again, I've barely eaten within my Calorie goals the whole time, so I'm not really expecting too much.

I'm sure happy to see those of you seeing such great losses with the scale and inches! Keep up your fabulous work!
