It's 1.30pm here in the UK, so good afternoon from lovely Wales

Day 4 of Level 3 coming up this evening and I am not looking forward to it. It is really not getting any easier in certain places and I am struggling on the transition from the last reps of Supermans to the plank moves on the next circuit as I am getting EXCRUCIATING cramps in my glutes  and have to pause a few seconds for them to go off.

I am also totally unable to do full sit ups without hitching my feet under the dressing table so I am doing them that way. Strangely though I find the last circuit of Natalie style abs really quite easy and can even do mostly all of the harder pike ab moves too - so go figure??

Oh, and forget about the rock star jumps too! I had a ghastly swollen knee after the first day so now I am just jumping up as high as I can with straight legs, although the jump squats are not a problem. However, I am enjoying the fact that most of cardio now has weights incorporated too and have upped from 1kg - 2kg hand weighs now........ boy my shoulders are reminding me too :noway:

To add insult to injury I lost a measly 0.2lbs this week and neither BF nor inches have shifted at all

However...............onwards ladies - it might be painful but we call do this!

D2L3 early this morning before work. i honestly can't believe i just popped up and did it LOL

there are quite a few moves on L3 that are just too hard on my long-abused knees, so i do moves from another level in place of them (like forget those rockstar jumps, i do my beloved oblique twists instead) and i dont feel A BIT guilty!!

the sit ups are oddly easy for me....i MUST be doing them wrong LOLOLOL!

does anyone else think that Natalie looks sort of "uncoordinated" doing some of her moves?? like way off balance? or am i just projecting because i hate her for her gorgeous little waist hahaha

No, I totally agree about Natalie. I mean, she looks awesome and I am sure has worked really hard, but you are filming a professional workout DVD. LOOK PROFESSIONAL! I am the one supposed to look all spastic. And I do. : )
The rock stars suck! I do them, but not very high. The sumo squat things burn so bad. I feel strangely at ease with sit ups, too, but not much else.

Day 19 done! So far I've skipped my favourite Shred It with Weights and just did 6 Week Six-Pack. Still nursing a sore ankle... but it's not swollen or anything so I don't know what I did to it :ohwell: I do feel guilty for not doing the Shred It with Weights, so I still may try to do that this afternoon

2 more days left in week 3 of RI30 and it's still kicking my rear...depending on my results at the end and how I'm feeling I may go for round two just because I'm still doing modified versions of a lot of the moves and still taking breaks. Week 3 is no joke...weeks 1 and 2 were gravy baby...now I'm scared for the last week.

Anyone NOT seeing results? My scale is going back and forth...haven't taken measurements yet so I can *hopefully* be surprised...but nothing is really fitting any looser. :ohwell:

There were quite a few exercises in L3 that I had to modify. My knees are old and unforgiving!! I figure, as long as you're doing something, then it's not really cheating. ;) I did high knees instead of rock stars.

Happy Friday! I have to do my JMBR workout #4 at some point today. Was knocked off schedule with some kid-things, lol.

    Have a great day!

Happy Friday!!! Another dance competition weekend so will have to try to work in my JM time in between everything else. At least this one is local so I'll be home at the end of every night.

Did Day 20 of JM's MTC program this morning. I was feeling pretty antsy this evening, so I also did L1 of "Ripped in 30" before dinner. Good job, everyone!

I ended up missing Day 4 all together as my DH had an angina attack (he has had them for a while now but they are still scary!) and I had to finish the day after work first lugging bark chippings then sacks of chicken pellets and corn up a steep slope to the top of our garden to put in the new hen house he has just finished building. I tell you something, I thanked Jillian for my new quads and biceps and I sure needed them! My arms are burning this morning..............

Sadly, I was wiped out after 2 hours hard graft following a 10 hours shift in the office so I gave the shred a miss, but I am soooo back on it today. I have decided to do what I can and either modfiy or replace moves that my knees are just saying "no way" to..... seems to work for other and I suppose as long as you are still moving and using the right circuit moves (cadrio/strength/abs) then it can't be too wrong.

Good luck everyone - we can do this!
