Hey!
I am a vegan looking for any instant rice options besides just brown rice. Any one have any ideas or brands?

    You might look at Uncle Ben's Converted Rice if you can find it. I don't know how they do it, but it has the lowest glycemic index of any rice.

    Minute Rice told me their microwaveable round containers of Ready To Serve white rice are VEGAN..They are 200 calories each. I don't trust Uncle Ben's products because I read that they are some way affiliated wifh some organization that euthanizes animals-- and I know Tofurky is, and I won't purchase Tofurky products for that reason.
