Remember mommies new to myfitnesspal, add at least 200 calories burned to your cardio each day.

  • Learned a new trick. Look for breastfeeding as a food not an exercise, some actually include the carbs, protein, ect needed. I'm now using... Breastfeeding - Older Baby or Minimal Feedings -200 Cal Per Day, 1 day -200 -50 -16 -10

Oh that is great! I just added 300 calories to my diet since my little girl is still EBF, but this is a better idea. Not quite sure how to do it.

I added about 600 calories to my total calories for the day because 300 was not enough and I was getting dizzy. I am now aiming for around 1850 a day with ebf. I added a bit extra because I am ebf my almost 5 month old but I have an older daughter who also will have bm every so often.

If you add it as an exercise, It's 20 calories an ounce. As an exercise, it adds carbs, fat,etc to your daily allowance.
  • Thanks for the tip! I just signed up today and I wasn't sure how to factor in breastfeeding.
