I have 5 days left on Level 3 and, surprisingly, I have enjoyed it even though I grunt, groan, sweat and curse through the whole thing!
I also have 3 other JM DVDs so I might get one of those out next and have a go - No More Trouble Zones perhaps??? but this time I will mix and match with other stuff as I do find the same workout day in day out a bit tiresome after a while.
Have a lovely day of rest...... oh, apart from the shred that is0 -
Did quick NMTZ yesterday. Holy sh....It kicked my butt. I do like how quick each circuit is, but some of them are really hard.
Today is bfbm. I'm a little worried that I'm going to pass out from exhaustion in the middle of it.
I'm going to keep going with JM for another 30 days since I liked the 30ds results.
Congrats to all who've made it thus far!! Keep on going!0 -
Good day JM lovers! I'm on l2d5, I think. I also have been doing Shred it Weights. But I'm going to try another one of her dvds after this also. The scale hasn't moved a lot but its going great!0

Just got through level 2 day 6. So much better than last night and I can now do ALL the walk out press ups! Proper men press ups!! I am seriously impressed at myself with that. I can see a real difference in my shoulders - I think level 2 is all about shoulders though.
When I get through to level 3 I'll put in my order for Ripped in 30!0 -

What is the difference between shred and shred with weights?? Are they heavier weights? xx0 -
BFBM, is tough!! I am wiped out. It starts out relatively easy so I thought I had in the bag till the third circuit!!
I almost finished, but skipped the last circuit and barely made it through the second to last. So my goal is to be able to complete the entire DVD with no quitting!! Although I did quit early, I was impressed that I made it 37 minutes when I'm only used to 20. Baby steps!!0 -
Took yesterday and today off. I was seriously hurting every single place I could think of to hurt yesterday. Feeling better today and ready to get back at it tomorrow! I can't believe we're so close to finishing this up!. Question....are you counting the rest days as part of the 30 or are you tacking them on the end? I'm trying to decide what to do there.0

Jillian uses a kettlebell for Shred It with Weights. She recommends a weight of 3 to 8lbs, but she does say that when you master the moves, you can increase the weights for a bigger burn. Oh, and if you don't have a kettlebell, a dumbell will accomplish the same results (and Maddie uses a dumbell).
I've tried both, and I like Shred It with Weights more.0 -
Today was a rest day on JMBR and luckily so, I had to be at a dance competition all day beginning early. Back to the grind tomorrow!0

@bristolbased Congratulations! I can't wait until I can do a non-modified push up!
@SallyGal4 BFBM is super tough! Great job on the improvement you're only going to get better!
Today was rough. I took 3 days off from my usual 2 so I had to make up some of the damage I did on those. (I didn't just stop working out but I also took a break from logging).
I did Extreme Shed & Shred again and it's really starting to grow on me. I don't really feel that I have tried anything quite like it yet so it feels very "fresh". It's not quite as "strength" based as the 30DS is, so I'm definitely adding NMTZ this week to help fill that void.
I also did BFBM tonight for some extra cardio. Tough as nails, but that's why I love it. So excited to be only 9 days away from completing this challenge!0
