    Only 7 days left of this challenge!

    6 Week Six-Pack, done and done. I might do another workout later on, I'll see how my studies go. I miss Shred It with Weights! lol. I NEVER ever thought I would enjoy working out... but I do!! I love the changes this journey brings :)
  • 30DS Level 2 Day 4.....getting better. Feeling good. Tuesdays are so much better than Mondays. :happy:

    Happy Tuesday and Day 23! I did Day 2 Level 1 of Ripped in 30! I was sore today! Yayyyy! I know I am doing something right! I had a little pity party last night about weight and all that. Not sure why because I am seeing results in the way I look and my clothes fit, but I am not losing weight at all. But I am sure you all know what I mean when I say it is frustrating! I am going to really try to not get on the scale for a few weeks to stay focused on getting in shape, healthy, and feeling better. Thanks for keeping me motivated!

    Happy Tuesday and Day 23! I did Day 2 Level 1 of Ripped in 30! I was sore today! Yayyyy! I know I am doing something right! I had a little pity party last night about weight and all that.     I know exactly how you feel. The scale can be very disappointing. I had to put mines away. I'm going to try to weigh 1-2 times a month.

    That is a great idea! 1-2 times per month would be great. I weigh WAY too much. And it can really affect my mood!

    I second that!!

    I know how the scale can rule your life... when we all know our weight can fluctuate. It's still disappointing when you don't see the numbers move in the direction you want them too. I've been bouncing around the same darn numbers for almost 2 weeks... BUT, my composition is changing! I'm losing inches, my clothes fit better, and my body is getting "tighter" - I can actually feel muscles :) And yet, the scale still gets me down a little.

    last night i did level 2 shred with my sister in law - it was hysterical! she is a pretty competetive person, and pretty strong overall - so when i "blew her outta the water" i couldn't help but feel a little satisfaction :)

    during the walking push-ups she declared: "im going to do TWO push-ups instead of one" i told her she should save her arm strength but she went on ahead and had noodle arms in no time! Also, i have a set of 3lbs and a set of 5lbs weights. I use the 5lbs for pretty much everything now but she told me the 3lbers would be like kids play for her so i told her to go ahead and use the 5lbers....that lasted ONE SET before she was asking to switch.

    hahahahaha. its sick to find joy in this, i know....but...OH WELL!!

    It IS totally sick- and I LOVE IT!!! : ) I have found some new found strength on things and love to show it off. (appropriately, of course!! ha ha) Invite her over again any time you need a little boost! :wink:

    Day 6, Level 3 for me tonight.... almost there and I admit I am going tomiss the she-devil once her work is done!

    I'm going to have to do my youngest daughter like that. She likes to stand and watch me do the workout and say how she can do it

    Yeah- I'm sure it LOOKS easy! We know differently! : )
    On a lighter note- My work collected some stuff from an old med clinic. There were some scales. I jumped on them for kicks when someone else told me they were acurate and it said 2 pounds less than my weight (fully clothed). I went home at lunch and weighed- and it was right! I have lost 2 pounds. I have went about 30 days with nothing and then I complain here and I have lost! MFP really works! :laugh:

    No More Trouble Zones for today. This is the first time I've ever done this DVD and I absolutely LOVED it. That doesn't mean I wasn't praying for it to be over for most of the time, but I actually really missed all the "old school Jillian" strength training.
    It might be that they remind me of 30DS and make me feel nostalgic. lol
    Well 7 more days and we've completed this challenge!

    Did Day 23 of JM's MTC program yesterday. I almost didn't make it because it was so hot in the gym! Today's supposed to be a rest day, but I think I'm at least going to go out for a run before it gets too hot out. Enjoy the day, everyone!
