It didn't happen as planned (I wanted to make it "perfect") but it happened perfectly if that makes sense. Eh... we can do romantic getaways later.
I'm happy. Still overthinking and driving myself crazy but I've made a vow to myself to stop because it's not going to help any.
On the contrary it can hurt me and him. Also, I've decided to allow myself to be vulnerable with him. If he hurts me somehow, I'll survive. If this is short lived, I'll survive. The real regret would be if fear of taking a risk holds me back and I don't even get to enjoy this.
So for now, I'm enjoying Mr. Smiley. I'm definately seeing his normal everyday side now (and he's definately seen mine!). He can get grumpy, he can get annoying but even then, he still makes me smile and melt.0 -

He came over yesterday and we had a fun time. He mounted my tv, moved my couch and then we went to dinner. We are getting more and more playful with one another like we wrestle or tease each other all in good fun. It's funny how a relationship changes with time.. even as little as 3 weeks.
We might go to my cousin's for Memorial Day weekend. He met them over the weekend and he got along great with cousin's hubby so we might go stay over there (Houston area) for a couple of days. Should be fun!0 -
